To work or not to work?
Something is disturbing me lately. Yes, I'm jobless and will be for the next few months. However it's not by choice. I simply do not have the necessary papers to work. Speaking about work, I love my job more than most people. You can say I am passionate about it. Whenever I speak to anyone about what I do, I get all excited (imagine plenty of body language and arms flying in the air). I am a baker and a chef. I may not have more than 4 years experience but I definitely have more love for it. Someone asked me why do some people enjoy working past their normal hours? I said they love their jobs. It maybe about money but what is most important is the Passion (think fire burning in your heart when you work)!
Going on to the next point, family time. Some wouldn't want to work past their normal office hours as they value family time or they want more leisure time. Of course that is understandable. But if you do not know how to relax, it befits the purpose of working less and getting more stress at home. What is stress at home? Screaming at children, cleaning the house, worrying about broken machinery in the house. These are all stress. But you do not have to stress yourself over it. Learn to relax when it's time to. Life is too short! |
